Shimatsu stabilizer

Column-type stabilizers consist of three column transformers—or variable transformers (Variacs)—and often include a booster transformer. The booster transformer first receives and filters the input power before supplying it to the three variable transformers; it regulates the output when input voltage fluctuates, ensuring a stable output without sudden jumps. These stabilizers are primarily used in high-amperage applications.
